A number of market town partnerships were set up in the early 2000s to access funding for community projects which was not available to local authorities. Sudbury Market Town Partnership was founded in December 2004 by Sudbury Town Council, with the support of the Countryside Agency and Babergh District Council. The Partnership drives forward projects which will benefit our community as a whole.
The Partnership is always keen to recruit more volunteers to support our work in the local community, especially to help run events for Transition Sudbury and District, and cooks and helpers for Sudbury Community Kitchen. If you would like to become more involved, please contact us and arrange to meet some of our Trustees.
